Aluminum is a better choice than plastic for manufacturing precision products out of. It stays flat and wont warp. This leads to more consistent results. Less susceptible to breakage as well

The beads are pulled to the side of each well approximately 1.5 mm up from the well bottom

This plate accepts 96-Well PCR plates that are Fully-Skirted like Bio-Rad® Hard-Shell plates. Semi- & un-skirted plates will work, however, the corner brackets won’t keep the plate in place it will rely on the magnets for positioning
