Ideal magnet for all of your automated low volume needs. From Low elution 96-well PCR applications to 384-well, the X396 has you covered. No need to purchase two separate plates anymore. 96-well volumes as low as 5 µL are achieved from 96-well, PCR plates on the inside of the magnet, while the outside of each magnet will pull beads to well sides in 384-well plates.

Compatibility
This magnet was designed to be compatible with common microplates, all liquid handler robots, and any magnetic beads
- Full-, Semi, and Non-Skirted 96-Well PCR plates
- 384-Well PCR Plates
- Some standard v-, or pyramid-bottom 384-well plates
- 0.2 mL PCR Tubes and strips (with Kit shown to right)
Application Note: If you purchase the kit, the top plate (that holds the PCR tubes) is simply lifted off the magnet plate, it is not attached.

Comparison
Slide the images to the right to compare a 384-well to a 96-well PCR plate. You will see the 384-well sits down around the magnets, this will pull beads to the well sides like a post magnet. The 96-well plate sits on top of the magnets creating a ring of beads
FAQ
What is the benefit of aluminum product?
Aluminum is much easier to make precision products out of then plastic. It stays flat and wont warp. This leads to more consistent results
Where are the beads pelleted?
For 96-Well PCR plates the pellets will form a ring about 2.5 mm in diameter up about 1mm from the well bottom
For a 384-Well PCR plate the beabs will be pulled to the side of each well.
What microplates can I use
This plate accepts PCR plates (Full-, Semi-, and Non-Skirted) and most 384-well PCR microplates. For best results, we recommend full-skirt
Compatible with some pyramid bottom 384-well.
Will this fit my Liquid handling robot
Yes, this plate has a standard SBS/ ANSI compliant footprint to fit into any platforms. The only restriction would be the height
Is this product available for private labeling?
