The Permagen 96-Well Side Pull Bar Magnet PCR Separation Plate was designed for use in manual or automation applications where pulling beads to one side of the wells is essential. Unlike our other bar magnet plates, this product has its own magnet for each row of tubes.

FAQ

Aluminum is much easier to make precision products out of then plastic. It stays flat and wont warp. This leads to more consistent results

For 96-Well PCR plates the pellets will form a ring about 2.5 mm in diameter up about 1mm from the well bottom

For a 384-Well PCR plate the beabs will be pulled to the side of each well.

This plate accepts PCR plates (Full-, Semi-, and Non-Skirted) and most 384-well PCR microplates. For best results, we recommend full-skirt 

Compatible with some pyramid bottom 384-well. 

Yes, this plate has a standard SBS/ ANSI compliant footprint to fit into any platforms
