All Magnet Plates have SBS/ SLAS Footprint (127.75mm x 85.50mm) to fit into any automated liquid handling robot. Due to harsh lab environments, Permagen uses magnets instead of springs to achieve the cushion feature on our plates. Magnetic repulsion will outlast springs by many years.
