Is this product aluminum?
No, this is one of the only products we produce that is mostly plastic. (The blue base is aluminum)
This product is a direct replacement?
Absolutely, simply change out any old plates with part #A32782 or A001322. No robot or protocol modifications are necessary.
What microplates can I use
This plate accepts PCR plates (Full-, Semi-, and Non-Skirted) and most round or pyramid bottom microplates
Will this fit my Liquid handling robot
Yes, this plate has a standard SBS/ ANSI compliant footprint to fit into any platforms
